What's New in MUSICImprovise! FestivalImprovise! is American Composers Orchestra's (ACO's) festival and conference exploring improvisation and the orchestra. The project is devoted to exploring improvisation in orchestral music in all its conceptual and stylistic diversity, including jazz, graphic notation, technological innovation, collective improvisation, and other influences.

The service is larely commerical-free and you can pick it up across the US. You can sample the Sirius radio for free for 20 minutes on line. Just go to www.sirius.com The digital radio will be an optional feature on 10 different Ford, Lincoln and Mercury 2004 models. Ford plans later announcements about putting Sirius in Mazda, Land Rover, Volvo, Jaguar and Aston Martin cars. Sirius already can be found in BMW AG and DaimlerChrysler AG cars. The New York-based company competes with Washington, D.C.-based XM Satellite Radio Holdings Inc.which has exclusive deals with General Motors Corp. . Both companies have nonexclusive arrangements with several automakers, including Audi, Volkswagen AG and Nissan Motor Co. Ltd. (NSANY). The stock symbol for Sirius is SIRI. On May 15. 2003, the SIRI stock was upgraded at SG Cowen to Outperform from Market Perform after first quarter subscriptions came in ahead of their estimates. For the long-term, SG Cowen projects that SIRI and XMSR will split the new car mkt 50/50, and new plug & play transportable products will expand aftermarket sales.
